Houses of Japan (2)

Houses of Japan, series

This residential house was taken in Gifu. It is tiny and you would really have to crouch to get into the door.

Camera: Pentax *ist DS, lens: Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC MACRO

It looks like you would have to crouch and try and go in sideways. ;-)

I like the shot of this house. The house has a real character. It seems to look both symmetrical and asymmetrical at the same time.
Good choice of subject.

i agree, nice choice of house. i think it was appropriate to photograph it face-on.

(found this blog by searching for 'araki subway')

ah thanks, i landed one of those pages but didn't see the whole series. i just bought the book today, i really enjoy his interview at the back of the book. (there's a similarly good one at the end of 'dirty pretty things,' which i looked through at the store but did not buy.)

quite brave of you to use a 28-300 lens on the train!!
