Gazing unflinchingly at things for a long time (3)

I'm getting more and more satisfied with the outcome of these photos. When I first came back from Japan and showed my photos to friends and family, lots of people assumed that photos of temples and shrines were the houses people lived in in or imagined that the Kenroken garden was one of the gardens you'd find around many houses. It was my fault of course, I had completely ignored to give an impression of everyday Japan. During subsequent trips, I realized how difficult it is to capture just that and only after this last trip, I start to feel that I'm getting a bit closer.
